Milon Meyer, has over thirty-seven
years of seasoned and diversified experience. He has a wide range of
experience in solving engineering problems for operating nuclear power
plants, turbomachinery, aircraft, and related
structures using computerized or manual approaches. Working as a
consultant, he has been assigned project responsibility requiring a variety
of engineering structural, fluid-mechanical, and heat transfer solutions.
Recently, Mr. Meyer assisted DOE's Office of Safety Regulation (OSR) within
U.S. Dept of Energy Office of River Protection
(ORP) to perform review of low-activity waste (LAW), high-level waste
(HLW), and pretreatment waste (PT) facilities. Review required knowledge of
Regulatory Criteria and verification that hazards were identifed,
accidents analyzed, and applicable standards implemented. As an expert, Mr.
Meyer has demonstrated technical experience interfacing with DOE, DOE/RL,
DNFSB, and related DOE contractors. milon (at) mdpsi.com

F. George Abatt, PhD, PE, has
over twenty years engineering experience in the nuclear, aerospace, and
aircraft industries. His experience includes the analysis of reinforced
concrete waste tanks, seismic evaluation of structures and components in
nuclear facilities and operating power plants, and soil-structure interaction
analysis of nuclear facilities. Dr. Abatt has acted as the technical lead and project manager on numerous
high-visibility projects on the Hanford Site and has presented the results
of analyses to external reviewers and the Defense Nuclear Facilities Safety
Board. He has also acted
as a reviewer for the NRC for licensing applications of new commercial
nuclear power plants. Dr. Abatt is currently is a voting member of the
American Society of Civil Engineers working group responsible for the
revision of the national standard ASCE 4 entitled Seismic Analysis of Safety-Related Nuclear Structures and
Commentary. george (at) mdpsi.com

Julie Dewberry, MSME, has
Fifteen years engineering experience with transportation packaging safety
analyses, structural design and analysis (static and dynamic), mechanical
systems design, leading/supervising design staff (engineers/designers), and
computer aided design software. Seven years experience
in safety analysis reports for transportation packaging, applicable
industrial codes and regulations. Three years design experience with the vitrification treatment plant mechanical handling
equipment for solid waste volume reduction and transportation/disposal
packaging; developed performance requirements, specifications, equipment
layouts, and safety/hazards evaluations supported by design calculations.
More than four years commercial/industrial experience in
environmental/waste management, and computer design/drafting. Well versed
in AutoCad 2008, MicroStation;
MathCad; Corel Products; Microsoft Office; and MS
Project 98. Experience with classical finite element analysis codes, ANSYS
and ABAQUS. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
(written/verbal). julie (at) mdpsi.com

Ken Stoops, BSME, has
experience from equipment design and analysis to linear applied mechanics.
Mr. Stoops has performed structural analysis for seismic qualification of systems
and components located throughout the Hanford site. Types
of analysis he has performed includes seismic, thermal/heat transfer,
pressure vessels, and lifting using modeling and analysis both in ANSYS and
hand calculations. Mr. Stoops' background in mechanical engineering,
combined with his communications and computer skills ,
make him a versatile resource to any organization. ken (at) mdpsi.com
